Mothers Day

Any day that starts out by seeing a bag from a jewelry store is good in my book. As ive changed my style from hippie/ tomboy to a more conservative mom look my taste in jewelry has changed up a bit as well. Eric and I went into a jewelry store about 8 months ago and I tried on a few rings I liked. I was looking for something with maybe a raised diamond in the center to add to this one here..But as we walked out I spotted
THIS ONE!!! and he got it for me for mothers day. I like it alot. Still close to the hand. I was worried that if I had a diamond that stuck up I would snag it on something and loose it. So originally I had said never mind on a new ring.
Leo came home from church with this. I love these kids crafts. I just need to photograph them all and make a book. I have a box thats filling up.
I really wanted to wear these shorts the other day but they just dont work with garments. Im still getting use to wearing them. Ive given just about most of my wardrobe to the YW of my ward. Not that what I wore before was inappropriate but they would cut to were you see garments or when I bend over ride up. I really dont like to layer but I had to buy some long tank tops to wear under some of my shirts and now im wearing 3 layers and I just dont like that. So if i see something that works i will get it. And a friend was kind enough to give me a bunch of clothes. It wasnt so bad in the winter but now that summer is on the way I just dont see how all you guys do it in Vegas when it gets hot.
Dont worry I will stick with them. A friend Tara and I want to head to the Temple soon. I havent been since day after Christmas.
On Friday we walked with Leos class to the Dairy Queen a few blocks from his school. I just realized he only has about 3 weeks left of school then summer break. Yay I like summer. Then my lil man will be in Kindergarten in the fall and Levi will be then going to the same pre k Leo did. Its at 2 different schools so I will have to see how that's gonna work out. I hope the schedules mess right or ill be doing a bunch of running around next year.
After school we went to the park with friends. Leo and Riantsoa  (ri-ann-sue) are 5 days apart. And Levi and Valiah (vali) are about a month and 1 day apart so they were best friends last year and still again this year. There mom Sandratra is very nice. And they are Christian too.

last week

We taped yarn all over the hallway and they were being Ninjas trying to get through without touching the yarn. Leo had a blast. Levi just kept barreling through it and pulling it all off so it didnt last too long but they had fun. Leo keeps asking when he can be a Ninja again.

Letchworth State Park in New York

I love lots of water. This was beautiful. About a 3 1/2 hour drive from home. Id really like to camp out somewere sometime but ever since Eric went to Iraq he no longer wants to camp. I hope he gets over it or ill be taking the boys by myself. Right now we just do day trips which sometimes isnt so fun with my high energy boys in the car all day.

A nice woman took our picture. I always want to frame the photo and ask them to take it "just like this" because right behind us theres a beautiful waterfall behind that you just dont see .

but here it is. Very cool. We could feel the spray of the water. and saw rainbows everywere. I find these pictures on Pinterest and realize things arent so far away. There are so many places i wanna visit around here. Next month when there is no moon I am gonna take the boys up to a place called cherry hill. Its the darkest place in PA for stargazing. I will do my best at capturing the Milky Way but even if I dont get a good photo I still want to see it myself and show the boys. I cant wait!
Leos best friends Kia had a party. These are 2 of his favorite people in class Kia and Riatsoa. Its kinda too bad they all are gonna be going to different schools next year. But we will still see them because Levi will be in a class with there siblings.

Levi turns 3

Levis 3rd birthday was on Sunday the 21st. So we did cake and ice cream after dinner saturday. We bought him a few gifts. And I took the boys to see the Croods. Grandma H got him some dumptrucks for outside in the dirt, and clothes. His Uncle Paul got him some cars. And we got him a scooter and a jumping monster truck.  He loved the monster truck and after the day of playing all around with it it dissapeared. Linda and I looked everywhere. All over the house, in the shed, in all the cars without finding the thing. So yesterday Wednesday the boys were playing around in my room and found it under my mattress. Apparently I had been sleeping on it for a few days and didnt even notice. Which is weird cause its a pretty big truck. But yay we found it. I dont like spending money on things that just break right away or get lost. I love Levis reaction when we sang to him. And i tried to interview him. I need to come up with some same questions that i can ask him throughout the years and see how he changes. But they turned out pretty cute anyway. and of course my videos for the interview didnt upload.  Leo was really good about it being just Levis day I did buy myself a longboard skateboard and didnt want him to feel left out so we got him a razor scooter too. The boys have had fun riding those to the park and up and down the streets. We are in a great neighborhood were people actually slow down when they see kids in the street.

I love Spring. The flowers and trees are blooming. The color is coming back. We can go outside again. The weather has been really nice and our church's playgroup is finally doing park days again. They were meeting at the church for the winter but my boys would get bored easy and start to cause trouble. They play so much better at a park or just outside that we didnt go alot this winter. I need to take the advice of my sister and stock up on stuff that we can do inside when were stuck indoors. And ive found alot of inspriation on Pinterest. (like the tye dye waffles)

Sunday morning I made tyedye waffles.
There was a carnival in town. We took the boys but only did a few things like this slide and an obstical course. It was just too expensive. We just went to Hershey park a week ago and compared to that the carnival kinda sucked.

We took the boys to Hershey Park on Saturday. Originally Eric just wanted to take Leo. He has been doing really well at school lately and Eric needed to get out of the house and do something. I was checking it all out online and decided that I wanted to go too so we all went. Right now they have the spring prices that are 20.00 cheaper than in the summer and under 3 is free. Levi will be 3 on the 21st so we decided to take advantage now. We all had fun. Leo could ride alot of rides with and adult so Eric and him went off a few times and Levi and I hung out on the kiddie rides.
I was happy to sit out with the boys while Eric went on the ones he wanted too. I really dont like the spinning rides. Makes me sick. I did do one of the fastest coasters there. I still like those.

I did go on this ride with Levi. Called the Falcon. I didnt like all the spinning but Levi loved it.
                                                        Waiting for the chair lift
Levi behind the wheel of the Race cars
The View from the Kissing Tower

Levi and I found the Kiss
                                                                       Frog Hopper

went on the Chocolate tour in the Factory and saw these singing cows. of course they dump you right into the store so we got a few things. We saw these 5 lb chocolate bars

On the way out the boys saw the Kiss and attacked him with hugs. It reminded me of the time that we took Leo to disneyland and he kisses Minnie on the nose when we saw her. These boys are so cute
It was a pretty good day.

So not a whole lot has been going on. And well also alot has been going on. Isnt that weird how that can happen. So the weather here is warming up. Yay. We have been spending time outside. Talking to neighbors again. Getting the garden ready. cleaning up the yard and house. Ive been washing and putting away all our heavy winter stuff.  We got out our patio furniture and I know the boys love it outside. Inside Ive been trying to edit 8 years of photos. I never use to edit anything. So if i took 300 pictures of the sunset and only got say 1 or 2 excellent ones id keep em all. So you can imagine after 8 years how many photos I have. It was when my 500 uh somethin external harddrive told me that it was full when I realized that I guess i should go through them already. When we bought it the guys said oh yeah that will take forever to fill one of these up. It took me 8 years not forever..  In a few weeks ive probably deleted at least a couple thousand pictures that were just useless.
What id like to do instead of having all my best photos on FB (which i dont miss)
Is make a book every year of the things we did. Id really like to get caught up on the boys journals. I dont think ive written in them since we moved here. But what im thinking is having a book every year. Id probably buy 2 copies or mabye even 3 each time because id like to give the boys there books when they get married. or mabye id just have the 1 and always keep it with us. Not too sure yet. I dont know how much a book would cost. Cause if its for the whole year im thinking it would be at least a couple hundred pages.
Anyway. Lets see. So im still in YW. Love it. But one of them just had a Bday and moved to mia maids. And one of them moved. So now I have 2 beehives.
The 2 on the left are the ones I still teach. Courtney closest to me moved and I would say i was able to conect with her the most so far. I will miss her
a few weeks ago we had New Beginnings and we had the decorations. It was a rainbow theme. So i cut and painted these letters

This week we gave Levi a haircut. He wanted to help
drew little guys on our fingers
A neighbor gave me some of her boys hand me downs. They are 12 and 14 I like her style and they are very nice clothes. So im keeping them:) She also gave us some Kinex and Eric built a motorcycle with the boys.
My boys like brocolli and veggies Awesome! but we told them that Popeye eats Spinach and gets strong so now anytime we have spinach they want some. ( to get super strong)
I bought Leo his own laptop right before we moved here. We lost it at my Mom in laws house but Leo missed it so much I bought another one. She sent it too me when she found it. So now they each have one. When they turn it on it says there name. I can plug it in and enter there name and emails that gets read to them. They like to check there emails every once in a while
And here is the most recent picture of all of us together. I love my lil family.
My goal is to update here every week. So check back.
