Leviticus Loyal Hartman was born on April 21st at 5:06 am. He weighed in at 6lbs. 8.5 oz. And was 19 1/4 inches long. I started feeling contractions around 8:30 pm on the night of the 20th. I called the hospital and they told me to call back when they were 3-5 minutes apart. That didnt take very long just about 20 minutes. So I grabbed my bag and got ready. Our Aunt Betty was there to watch over Leo while we headed to the hospital. When we got there they had to check me and it seemed like they wanted to send me home from the way things were going. But sure enough I was 4 centimeters dialated so they admitted me. I send Eric home to get the camera because we had forgotten it with all the excitement. I got an epidural while he was gone so by the time he got back I was comfortable and just excited for him to finally be here. They had to come in and break my water because my contractions were slowing down, and that really got them going. We rested until I started to feel the pressure. And actually I was feeling pressure for about 30 minutes before I said anything. I just thought contractions were getting stronger but he was ready. So they all came into the room and got ready. I pushed a total of 4 times and he was out. It was a quick, easy delivery. We were released on the 22nd at around 3pm. I was happy to have it all over with and finally have my baby boy here with us. Levi was 6 days old when we packed up and moved back to Las Vegas. we are now living with my sister Ginger and brother in law Chris, In there casida. We are happy to be back close to family again and Eric is planning on starting summer classes to be on his way to becoming a radiographic technician, or a radiologist one day.
